• issue regulations on foreign exchange regulation, mandatory for all persons on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan;


• to issue and revoke licenses for foreign currency transactions to banks, other businesses and individuals, supervise and regulate their activities;


• set limits on open foreign exchange position and other prudential standards for banks;


• sets out the procedure for determining the rate of the national currency against foreign currencies;


• owns and manages international reserves of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

• formation, adoption and implementation of monetary policy and for ¬ policy on currency regulation;


• the provision and effective payment system in the Republic of Uzbekistan;


• licensing and regulation of banking, microcredit organizations and pawn shops, the supervision of banks, micro-credit organizations and pawnshops, licensing, production of forms of securities;


• Storage and management of official foreign exchange reserves of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the provisions of the Government under the agreement;


• Organization and the Ministry of Finance of cash execution of the state budget.
