- developing a strategy and tactics of the trade union movement of Uzbekistan, contribute to the effectiveness of member organizations, strengthen their;
- contributes to the development of social partnership, the implementation of the principle of tripartite cooperation of trade unions, employers' associations and state and executive power;
- taking the initiative for the development and conclusion of the General Agreement between the Federation, national associations of employers and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the other agreements that serve the interests of member organizations of the Federation, oversees their implementation;
- contributes to ratification by the Republic of Uzbekistan of international treaties, conventions on labor relations, contributes to the relevant government authorities proposed the adoption of laws and other regulations on labor relations, employment, labor migration, vocational training, occupational safety and health, empowerment and guarantees the trade unions, gender equality, youth, and other issues related to social and labor sectors to be involved in their development;
