In accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On banks and banking activity" banks in the Republic of Uzbekistan shall be independent in their decision-making related to the banking operations.
According to Article 31 of this Law the relationship between banks and their customers is based on contracts.
