The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan #214 "On further improvement of the procedure of state registration of mass media in the Republic of Uzbekistan" dated of October 11, 2006

Cost and method of payment for the service

Application for mass-media registration is free of charge.

Period of dealing with an application

Registering Authority takes decision on state registration or refusal of state registration not later than thirty days from the date of receipt of application with all necessary documents.

Methods for obtaining results

Acceptance of applications is online, obtaining a certificate is personally.

Result of the service

The mass media is considered as registered after issuance of certificate on state registration.

Reasons for refusal

State registration and re-registration of mass-media can be refused in cases stipulated by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On mass media", as well as in case of incorrectly completed application.

Order of appeal

The decision of registering body on refusal in state registration of mass-media can be appealed in court in accordance with the established procedure.
