- Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Metrology", "On Standardization", "On certification of products and services", "On Consumer Rights Protection", "On Conformity Assessment", "On Information", "On rational use of energy";
- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan dated 10.03.2002, № 342 "On measures to improve the system of standardization, metrology and certification of products and services";

Cost and method of payment for the service
Reception and processing of applications for state verification is free;
Verification of measurement tools - paid service;
Sending documents by registered post - paid service;
Payment for verification is made according to the price-list of declared tariffs, approved pursuant to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan № 239, dated 28.10.2010.
Period of dealing with an application
- for measurement instruments, submitted by individuals (domestic meters only) - 3 days;
- for measurement instruments, submitted by legal entities - 15 days.

On the Single portal and personally.
Result of the service
Applicant receives notice of completion and verification certificate (negatively, applicant may receive a notice, that the device is unfit for use).
Reasons for refusal
- Lack of claimed services in the field of accreditation;
- Incomplete or incorrectly completed application form.
Order of appeal
The applicant has the right to appeal for failure to provide services within established timeframe, as well as actions (inaction) of an official institution in accordance with the legislation.
